Kudos to all those who contributed to our successful visit to the Zoning Board yesterday to oppose the proposed development of 6558 Lawnton Street. We were able to keep the developer from building on a very steep slope. His intent was to utilize a common driveway to which he had no legal access. In addition to two members of the RPCA’s Zoning Committee, Jim Quinn, Patti Brennan and Terry McGinn provided support, and compelling testimony was provided by near neighbor Rosemarie Quinn. Congrats to the Quinns, who did their research and probably saved both Lawnton Street and Gorgas Lane from future development. Thanks for a job well done!
